Q. Why do you breed Cockapoos?

A. We consider the Cockapoo to be the perfect dog. Highly intelligent, low to non shedding, happy and friendly all in a medium sized package. We have two ourselves!

Q. Are you Council Licensed?

A. Yes we hold an up to date Dog Breeding Licence with Teignbridge District Council in accordance with the latest government legislation, anyone advertising a litter for sale should be. We are proud to be awarded the highest accolade of a 5 star rating.

Q. Where do you adult dogs live?

A. Our dogs are much love family pets so live and sleep indoors, not outside kennels.

Q. Are your puppies sold microchipped?

A. Yes puppy is microchipped before 8 weeks old.

Q. Do you have your dogs hip scored and why?

 A. No we do not have our dogs hip scored. The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals does not rank either a Miniature Poodle or English Cocker Spaniel high is its Hip Dysplasia Statistics. Therefore there is no need to put our dogs through the unnecessary distress of this procedure.

Q. Do you have a waiting list for your puppies and how do we go on it?

A. Yes we try to build up a list before each litter. If you are interested in one of our puppies please email us with details of yourself, family, any work commitments etc. We will contact you when puppies are born.

Q. When are puppies ready for their new home?

A. Puppies are ready for their new homes at 8 weeks old, providing that they have had their microchip and vet check.

Q. I have seen a litter advertised with one vaccination, do you do that?

A.  No, this is not always advisable. Brands of vaccines differ from in each vets, and may not be compatible, new owners may have to start the course again. One vaccine does not offer any protection against diseases. Starting too young alters the natural immunity pups have gained from their Mother.

Q. Will puppy cope with a long car journey?

A. Yes. All our puppies have been out in the car since they were a couple of weeks old and will cope will long journeys if you follow the advice given.
